Most of the month of August was spent in the jobs of dismantling both our 160 cu ft. domed circular down-draught kiln and the 60 cu.ft. sprung arch fast fire cone 10 kilns at my original shop in Woodville Ct.. Much of September was spent bringing the bricks to Bantam and building the fast fire cone 10 sprung arched kiln again. We are very excited to be getting close to being able to fire stoneware vases again. Here are some pictures of the effort so far.

This circular down draught kiln was built in 1980 and was almost as much fun to take down as it was to build .

We saved almost 3000 bricks from the two kilns dismantiled .

This brick is one and a half brick wide called a "Large 9 "
